Just a curious question I have. Is the old testament used in Israel as real history? Or do they have another history book?

I think we need an Israeli citizen who has gone through the school system there to answer this question for sure, then. N'est pas?Give'imGlory said:My question was simple. I have no agenda. My question is simply do they teach old testament events in their history books in schools today as fact? If you think I was trying to start a debate you are mistaken. If you are easily offended by any question someone asks then you dont need to respond. A simple yes or no is what I am looking for.

They use the Old Testament as history (heck, it's the history of their people and the promise of redemption through the Messiah - they just haven't realised that He was Jesus, but this will be revealed to them in the end times after the rapture) but they call it a different name, the Tanakh.
