  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I saw an article where someone cut the logo part into a nice rectangle, then sewed the rectangles together to form a very neat quilt top. You could get it quilted or do it yourself by buying a layer of quilt batting and use a flat sheet that is a little bigger than the t-quilt top. Tack the layers together/get someone who quilts to show you if you don't or go to HGTV.com to find quilting shows. After you tack the layers, just turn the sheet bottom up on the edges to form a hem around the edges! Presto - you have a very neat quilt! If you don't have that many, just make a throw size quilt!

The t-shirt quilt (can be done with sweat shirts as well) is a great idea. My boss at work has had one done for each of her daughters upon graduation, both from college and high school. Each were active in lots of things and thus had lots of t-shirts.

If you don't have so many, like Mrs. Garnet said, a lap quilt, still not enough, just alternate blocks with some other common color fabric. Have fun with it!

Make a pillow! I took a shirt from when I was younger, it has my name on it and I love it. I stitched up the sleeves and the bottom, then stuffed it.. and sewed up the neck. It's a cute decoration... and it's a good way to preserve a shirt.

My family has many shirts that are perfectly good, but the sleeves, necks, and bottoms are worn out. In other words, the middle is still as good as new, so I cut the centers out, and make pillow covers for small pillows out of them, and let my pets use them for beds, etc.
