  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

THE NEW COVENANT: 31 "Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
Jer 31:32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD.
33 "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

In what manner was this to be accomplished? By what means? By the insturmentality of what (or whom)?

Yes,
post-humously; the 'insturmentality ' being Christ; when He lead captivity captive.

They were limited because of time; to physically experience it in person; but through Christ; they did see the day; much like Abraham of old also saw the day even though it was thousands of years in the future from his perspective...he still rejoiced!

In the same way the received eternal salvation and redemption of their souls on account of Christ's future accomplishments on Calvary; they too; participate in the New Covenent confirmed in His blood to the many.

Those that will live under the "New Covenant" will do so in the kingdom that Jesus will establish here upon the earth. Members of the Body of Christ will be in their heavenly home FOREVER.

God Bless.

Dispy,
How can there be a difference? Jesus told us, "There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out." -Luk 13:28

Huh???!!!??? This is a little confusing to me. So... Abraham didn't really see Jesus during his day, and didn't rejoice until after his death? If Jesus led captivity captive AFTER He made the statement, then how could what you're saying be true? Either you're incorrect, or Jesus didn't tell the truth.

They participate in the New Covenant? What scritpure? We participate in the New Covenant? What scripture? The Bible makes it very clear that we are a part of the Abrahamic Covenant, that we were always to be included in that covenant. The Bible NEVER includes us in the New Covenant. The Bible NEVER includes the OT saints in the New Covenant. Yet, you do. How do you come to that conclusion?

God Bless!

Has this already occured?????? Wouldnt it be better to phrase the question "when will this"

Do you know any Jews that know the Lord so well that they no longer need to be taught? Any church-age believers who fall into this category?
