  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Develop a healthier lifestyle & therefore BODY so I can hopefully get rid of some of my health issues;
Get our kitchen remodeled;
Get the landscaping around the house "mostly" done;
Grow ever closer in my walk with God;
Decide on a pre-K for my daughter

That's all I can think of right now....oh, and not necessarily in any particular order! lol

Do you have a "fun" vice? For example - I like fancy coffees, in the summer there's nothing better than those frozen coffee slushes. In the winter I love the lattes (my current favorites hot buttered toffee and s'more mocha).

I don't know if this falls into one of the "formal" categories...but I like to think I'm a peace-maker....I'm always trying to smooth things over between members of both my family and my husband's....life is too short, you know?

Yep...same here! Flavored coffees....even when it's in the upper 90s here, I still love a vanilla latte from Starbucks...or my new favorite...White Chocolate Mocha... . I even drink my coffee at home with flavored creamer....
