You're going to take up quilting? How cool is that? My grandmother belonged to a quilting bee through church when I was a teenager. I just think that is the coolest thing.

Would you mind sharing your testimony with us? (how you became a Christian)

Well, it was kinda two-fold. I attended a private Baptist college, and during a Christian concert they had there I felt the power of the Holy Spirit and re-dedicated my life to Christ that night. However, I didn't walk the true path of a Christian and backslid numerous times.

About a year before I became pregnant with my daughter, I picked up the first book in the Left Behind series...I truly believe God led my hand to that book...that's what opened my eyes and gave me a true hunger to learn more about God and the Bible. Ever since then I have RE-rededicated sorry: ) my life to God...but now it's an every day thing and I know it's a never-ending process. I'm continually struggling, but also continually learning and growing in His love.

What do think is your biggest daily challenge?

Patience....that's a struggle I have to work with daily....consciously work with, if you know what I mean. If I "forget" to work on it, then I'll lose my patience alot easier.

What is your biggest lesson of life that taught you to be more wiser?

hmmmm....that sure is a thought-provoking one!

I think God taught me a big lesson in trusting him...giving all my concerns and stresses over to him....here's the short version:

Recently (3 months ago) we were right in the middle of purchasing our new home. It's our dream home and I prayed alot about it...everything was falling into place! Still, the mortgage payment was nearly double what our old one was so I had fears about whether or not we could swing it...but I just confessed to God and told him that I knew deep down that he would take care of us. A few days after the papers were signed for the purchase (no turning back!!), my husband got a salary increase at work that nearly made up for the difference in our payments!

I learned from that lesson that all God wants is to love us and help us...all we have to do is turn all our worries and concerns over to him.

What is your most favorite time of the year?

I'd like to say this time of year...the holidays...but it all gets so stressful that I'm kinda hesitant to say it! lol But I do love Andie's wonder during this time of year...that makes up for it!

I really enjoy early spring here...Easter, Mother's Day....the weather is beautiful, the whole rebirth thing....
