CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Same reason you don't want a computer program telling you the same warning about Internet Security over and over. You already know what is secure and what isn't the message has no use anymore.

I think its mroe of a body thing.....if u fall out of tree and hit something on a rock it has to hurt!!! no two ways about it! I don't feel anygod inflicts pain, and for the pain u didn't cause urself its ur bodies way of sayng something is wrong inside and as said before a survival mechanism.

Pain is a sensation just like any other. I used to suffer chronic pain and had to learn what is called "sensate focusing" to help me cope with it. The idea is that you focus and concentrate on the actual sensation of pain that you are experiencing, and you attempt to see it as a positive sensation rather than a negative one. I found it would only work if I was in a dark and quiet place.
