Oh no! Big changes at AOL!!

AOL is switching to free/ad-based web access, and they aren't going to make those discs that come in the mail or are given away at the grocery store.It's like the end of an era for me.I've been collecting those things for 10 years and I have thousands of them! I've got them all the way back to the original AOL Gold, the first one that came out on CD rom instead of half a dozen little floppies.I get extreme glee from finding the ones I didn't have before! People give them to me as gifts! I like to walk around Circuit City just so I can pick up the free CD roms!What am I going to do for a hobby now?!

I don't know much about AOL, I just collect the discs. Sometimes, for fun, I watch the event tracker in my firewall work. My computer pings itself like a thousand times a day. Is that normal?

I found a little pattern once where you take those CD-ROMs and crochet around them with a little red and green yarn and at the end you have a little christmas wreath doodad.

Or you could just enjoy your stunning new collection of free coasters?

Grills are SOOO last year, man. Tooth jewelry is in. You have a cavity drilled into a healthy tooth, then you plug it with a diamond, or at least a CZ permanently cemented in.
