I'm really interested in American Sign Language and Helen Keller, so when I heard my school was putting on The Miracle Worker as the Fall play I decided to audition.
I haven't done acting since Freshman year and I have never gotten a 'real part' in any play. So, as you can imagine, I was super excited when I made callbacks. Okay, I was super nervous, too.
Well, I was feeling kind of confident (and trying not to be too confident) because I felt that I fit the part I really wanted.
The cast list went up the next day and I saw it and screamed. I GOT THE PART OF ANNIE SULLIVAN!!! I got the freakin' lead in my school play!!! I am so excited and so scared, too. I feel so blessed to have been given this part in the play as a wonderful gift.
Gosh. I've totally just run out of words. :o But isn't God great? I sure know. I love Him so much. Of course, I would still love Him even if I didn't get any part. One thing is for sure: our God is a beautiful God, and He never leaves us.
