This reminds me of the ancient testimony of my "Forum namesakes" end.*emphasis mine*
It's true. In Finland, at least one confessional Lutheran pastor who refused to share the altar with women who intended to distributed communion has been arrested and tried for discrimination.
It's not illustrated, though. There are lotsa stories in Judges that I would love to see illustrated in the LOLcat Bible.
It is just a book! It is meant to be funny! It is a work of fiction, nobody is banning King James version of the bible- And he changed a lot of it!
He said "the spirit of Milk", not "Spirit of the Milk". It's not sexual at all, but a reference to the gay martyr, Harvey Milk. What the heck is the "Spirit of the Milk" is that some sort of sexual euphemism I've never heard before? My uncle is gay and I have to say I've never heard him use that phrase before....
Ya, that LOLcat is the one meant to be funny.Which book is meant to be funny? The Gay Bible or the Lolcatz Bible? I wonder if you'd have the same nonchalant attitude if people did this to one of Paganisms holy books. Do you have any that could be spoofed?
I always wondered what your name meant. This reminds me of the ancient testimony of my "Forum namesakes" end.
Under the fifth persecution under Severus, "and Secundulus died in prison."!!!!!!

reminds me of the liberal "christians" in the gay debate forumthis is an extreme, that show cases a common practice people use in their "theology".
This group cares nothing at all for the concept of scriptural truth. The bible is simply a tool that they can use to promote their view and thus changing the bible is fine because there is no assumption at all that the bible itself contains truth that we must discover, understand, or adhere to. They are just using it as a form of propaganda.
This is obviously blatant and extreme. However, 'gay theology' and other kinds of theology like liberation theology, black liberation theology, etc.. have been doing basically the same thing for years. They usually don't go so far as to actually physically rewrite the bible... but they really don't care at all what the bible was intended to mean or to teach.. they are only concerned with how they can use the bible to support their ideas. Thus they go in looking for ways to make the bible mean what they want it to mean.
This group has just taken it to the next, extreme step and simply rewritten the bible to say what they want it to say.
I don't say this in a triumphalistic sense, but the reality is people who do things like this are just storing up wrath for themselves.
Under law, he'd of been stoned to death for that (as David writes out how He LOVES GOD'S LAWS & obeys them & meditates on them day & night).reminds me of the liberal "christians" in the gay debate forum
suddenly because David had a close relationship with someone hes gay
Well, after seeing the pop up advertisements here asking me to pick my Gay and promoting such a website, I think it is just a matter of time before this website starts to promote and sell this scripture revisionist heresy as well.
Im shocked that this website has sunk so low.

Even most gay advocates admit the OT is clearly condemning homosexuality. So that's real interesting how David loves the Law, while he rejects the homosexuality laws??
Even still, David was later in sin of adultery; it would only go to prove that he fell into sin.... in no way would it condone homosexuality any more than it would condone adultery.
& as I remember it, if they bothered to study it deeper in the Hebrew language, that type of relationship those 2 had was about equivalent to being 'blood brothers' - almost like a pact they made together.
It was a close blood relative type of union, not sexual love.
Simple manipulation to try to condone what is forbidden.
2 Pet. 3:15-16 is clear that manipulating the bible is done
to our own destruction - it doesn't make something true for us.

Hey that's awesome confirmation, thanks. The relationship between David and Jonathan was certainly the "blood brother" type of relationship.
They made a covenant together.
1 Sa 18:1-4
18:1 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David , and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.
3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.
4 And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David , and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.
KJV
Does not say specifically that it was a blood covenant.
However the exchange that occurred was common with blood covenants.
David also carried the responsibility of the covenant with Jonathan to the descendants of Jonathan.
2 Sa 9:1-6
9:1 And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
2 And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
3 And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
4 And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.
5 Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo-debar.
6 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan , the son of Saul, was come unto David , he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
KJV
This is also part of a blood covenant.
