OF OLD
Part Two
(Knower-of-Things) knew, blessed is this man, Jim.
(Always prepared) is a man that walked in Him.
(His mortal charges for combat) not in the way Satan goes.
(The plan was coming along nicely) but counsel of the Devil always grows.
(He spent the last four thousand years) against the ungodly, never standing away
(Instructing humans of epic faith) in the way today.
(Yet deep down within him) a love of sinners, nor a love for thier end.
(There frolicked a playful child) as he sits in the position of a Friend.
(He glanced down) at thier seat of the inherrited pain.
(At his time piece) each seat ruled by a scornful brain.
(Then there was a knock) but his delight alone.
(At his study-door) is in the known
(The human soul was about) the law of the earth so green and a sky so blue.
(Five foot ten with straight brown hair) he repents to the Lord; and in all and in you.
(Some sense of vague familarity) His law; does He love all and for them He fought?
(Stirred in Knower-of-Things) Jim, he meditate day on the spot.
(The man was) both day and night, his life a blind grope.
(On his hands and knees) before the Lord and he shall now have hope.
("Surely you know me.") Can a man be like a scroll.
(Knower-of-Things saw the fear), Jim became a tree planted, fleshy men are so droll.
(Take over again, )God did it by the rivers of Joy.
(Spreading over the man's face) a fear of water, that can destroy.
(The Lord was cheerful) It's the Him in you that brings forth his due.
(And matter-of-fact) the good fruit in His is you.
("He is having a rather difficult time) in or out of season; his and yours are the same.
(With his old nature) not knowing that even every leave also shall He name.
(He heard the unmistakable noise) a soft sigh of wind not wither; and Jim wept.
(Of human sobbing) whatsoever he does but surrounding him evil ones crept.
(Knower-of-Things proded him gently) understanding that Jim shall prosper fair
(With his finger) he points, showing that the ungodly are nothing but empty air.
(And he looked up) to see the powerful enemies are not so: but a viperous dart.
("It isn't as bad as all that.") All things are like the treasures of the heart.
("I feel such a fool,") He once chased sin like chaff which the righteous cannot care
(Presuming to know so much) which wind drives away from here to an endless there.
(About The Lord) saying so is a boast, therefore the ungodly prideful art.
(And resisisting his) ways shall not stand apart.
(Beautiful plans for me.") in the judgment, rejoice
(There was silence) nor sinners in voice
(And Knower-of-Things was aware) of the congregation of that
(Of a godly extraordinary presence,) the righteous fat.
(Warm and divine,) for the Lord In your heart has His Throne, His chair
(Like shared prayers) knows the how and the why to care.
(Or childlike faith) the way of righteous silk
(Made and kept in purity) the righteous milk.
