oh the tread of the dark,
without a faint chirp of thy morning lark,
just us, upon the salty sands,
cool and brushing against our gentle hands,
a eye to the air,
to look away? To dismount anticipation, would we dare?
Only the rolling tides of the distant,
and shared words that are absent,
await oh await,
for the sun to open its vast vibrant gate,
is it coming?
How long should we await the morning crowning?
Oh now we see!
Its closer, just beyond the sea!
Oh red yes, passionate swirl of the rose!
Pink I see you, massive bundles and billows!
Orange, ever so bright,
a taste of fruit dancing among the shadow less light
yellow, pale as an evening star,
the closing event is never afar!
Oh my, a gentle slit of the sun,
colors and streaks in the highest sky ,how they run!
Oh this is a ballet of the morn,
a day anew, a day newborn!
without a faint chirp of thy morning lark,
just us, upon the salty sands,
cool and brushing against our gentle hands,
a eye to the air,
to look away? To dismount anticipation, would we dare?
Only the rolling tides of the distant,
and shared words that are absent,
await oh await,
for the sun to open its vast vibrant gate,
