Oddworld Stranger

Anyone play this yet? We got it over the weekend and it seems to be ok so far but I havn't really gotten into it far yet.

I saw a profile of the game on the revamped Cheat on G4TechTV. Although the 'weapons' look interesting and the fact that you can switch from third to first person instantaneously is cool, it just doesn't seem like Oddworld to me. I think I'm going to wait until this one goes down in price or I can pick it up used.

I didn't liked it that much so I don't plan on getting this one.

Actually this one is almost nothing like the last installments of Oddworld. It seems to go in a completely different direction. You are a bounty hunter that runs around and captures bad guys for moolah. You use live ammo that each have their own specialities. After playing it for a little while about the only thing I have found in common with the past Oddworld games is the name. Of course I am not that far into the game so there may be more similarities later on. Try it, you might like this one.
