OCA And Constantinople?

I heard the OCA has not been Recognized by Constantinople, is this true? And if so, what does this mean in terms of credibility for the OCA?

If I'm not mistaken, it's their autocephaly that Constantinople does not recognize--the OCA is still canonical and everything, it's just the matter of how much control over the OCA that Constantinople thinks Moscow has/should have.


If I am wrong, please, someone correct me.

This is not true. Over the summer, Metropolitan Herman (head of the OCA) made an official visit to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. You can read about the trip here.
