Lisa, you have to 'edit thread' - open the thread, and click 'thread tools' and choose 'edit thread' from the drop-menu. Change the title there

not to be a spoilsport, i love those designs, the colors, and it all looks good together... but it looks super mushed... if it could be evenly spaced, i think i would love either of them.

for anyone who would like to try to make a logo.. it is very easy.. here are some tips

save this to your pc

design what you want on it for the forum, (I use a photo shop program, u can use gimp also (which is free on the web), anything which helps you design anything..

note: when designing, make sure you leave some of the right side of the above image so it lines up with the other banner

once you have completed the logo. you need to slice it into 4 sections for it to appear at the top next to the other banner on the forum. here is how you slice the finished image

(how I slice it)
open the completed design in windows paint
click image on tool-bar,then attributes change height to 91
save as top part

click undo

click images on tool-bar, flip image vertically and then change in attributes the height to 91 and flip vertically change attributes to 44 wide, and save as middle part

press undo, flip horizontally and change attributes to 270 wide flip horizontally and save as button home left side

press undo till you get original image, if you cannot get the original image back on undo, open the original image again

then change attributes to 125 height, flip vertically, change attributes to 34 height, flip vertically back ,and save as middle part

done. exit paint without saving the original image you diced up

you should have saved 4 sections which come together perfect when they you upload them to a url such as photobucket.com and then paste the link on the above thread Geocajun provided one at a time - first is the top part, then the middle part, then the button part, then the bottom part

What about that painting that's on the cover of Cardinal Ratzinger's book, "God and the World"? That's a pretty famous one (Perhaps painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?) and seems especially suited for the forum. Maybe one of our web artists could design something centered around that.

Oh, Thanks for the explanation. It was driving me nuts! I will know better next time. I just felt that it looked disrespectful. I know how to fix it now. I will just spell the whole forum name out.
