I heard Phyllis Schlafly once said "We (Christians) won" (the leadership of the party) unfortunately the opportunities were squandered and our economic sensibilities were lost as well.

Squandered on Iraq. Truly a shame.

But the apostate Democrats (and I include Rudy in that sentiment) will only do worse - and I'd be willing to bet Fred or John or Mitt wouldn't make the same mistakes.
