  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My husband went out of town Sunday. He flew back home today and was seated next to a woman who turned out to be a nun (who lives in the same house as my husband's grandfather's sister-who is also a nun). He said she was so excited about the election, she put her arm up, with a big smile and said, "Go Kerry! He's gonna win!" My husband was confused, and said to her, "you know he's very pro-abortion and voted against the ban on partial birth abortion." He thought maybe she didn't know or was uninformed. Her reply was, "well, you have to make some concessions. Kerry will save our economy." :(

Economy???? What ever happened to a vow of poverty? Wow.... you know if she was pro-Kerry for some other reason... wow that is just amazing, and sad! :(
Is the sanctity of life less important than money???
Plus, from what I've seen the economy is growing. Whatever... I'm sick of politics, this is my last political post for the night!!!! :)
