I entirely agree. There is a need for using nuclear weapons, although it would only be as a way to prevent a hostile takeover from another country, it is still a need.

I had to ask because it looked kind of like an attack the US post.

there is no defense for the use of nuclear weapons by anyone....but to rattle them at opponants is crazy.. neither side can not justify the threats of using nuclear weapons...

Disagreeing is one thing but many, in their zeal to disagree, carry it to the point of actually being anti-american. In their zeal they get blinded to the fact.

gee why should we be the only ones allowed to have WMD???..We are one of the few nations to have used them...twice in Japan.. and then chemical and bios against our own troops in free standing tests.... and chemical weapons against our own troops and civilians in a southeast asian country...which is still suffering from the effects..the effects are so bad that the US is telling its Veterans that if they served in this southeast asian country and have type II diabeties it is service connected disability...

Oh well let's just nuc them and get it over with...then we can turn on N.Korea.....

You're right... we shouldn't have used them and instead just dealt with the catastrophic troop losses. I'm sure the American people would have been fine with that.
