I've sinned so much these past few weeks I think I'm beyond forgiveness and repentance.

I am not ready to be thrown into the Lake of Fire. I'm not. I don't want to burn. I'm not ready at all I'm not I'm not ready

I'm not ready to die yet. I haven't done that much yet. I want to live, I haven't experienced life to the fullest yet. I'm still not happy. I think I'm bipolar. I'm not ready to die.

@boxman144 If you don't mind me asking, how much time do you spend reading the Bible during the week?

When it comes to these guys on youtube, who you watch, did you find them yourself, or did someone recommend them to you? I noted in another thread, that you are new to faith in Jesus. You have a life time to grow in Christ. Jesus wants you to live your life in love, not fear. We all have sin and junk in our lives, even long after we start our walk with Jesus. We'll never be perfect in this life, but God gives us a chance to prepare ourself for the next life.

I recommend finding some established Bible teachers to follow. Those who have been teaching for decades. I can recommend two, who have helped me over the years. Maybe others can help suggest as well. I would recommend looking up Chuck Swindoll and Adrian Rogers.

Lastly, God gives us grace through faith in Jesus. Grace is God's unconditional, unlimited, and undeserving love, for all of us.

I spent 0 hours reading the Bible this week. I have been praying a lot, though. I was looking at verses occasionally.

I found them myself. I regret finding them so much.

I thought God's grace was conditional? Well, at least when it comes to me anyways. I've found safety in my sins, like finding comfort being wrapped up by an anaconda, knowing it's going to eat me.

I've probably been given over to a reprobate mind. I don't feel conviction as often as I did. I'm probably beyond saving anyways.

I mean this with all the love in the world:

STOP WATCHING THIS GUY'S VIDEOS!

Block the webpage. Block his Facebook. Do not let yourself see anything he makes because he does nothing but send you into an anxiety spiral. He doesn't make you feel convicted--just condemned! And that's not how it's supposed to be! Godly conviction doesn't always feel good, but it shouldn't make you feel miserable. If this man's content is making you feel farther from God, cut it out. Don't expose yourself to it.

As for not feeling ready for the second coming, I understand. I feel the same way a lot of the time, though it's not something I'm proud of and I wish I could feel differently. So...pray about it. Be honest with God and ask Him to give you peace and to know that Jesus' return will be a good thing. We're young and we have a lot to learn. We don't understand everything yet. It's going to be okay.

As for the repentance thing, I actually read something really encouraging from Charles Spurgeon last night. It's a long quote, but it's very comforting:

I hope this helps, even if a little. In fact, I'd say reading a little bit of Spurgeon (in addition to the Bible, of course) would be infinitely more helpful than listening to this warningthepeople guy. Spurgeon doesn't negate difficult truths, but he always encourages looking to Christ and embracing God's love. And he seemed to understand, if not in the terms we use today, things like depression and anxiety.

I think I have severe anxiety

I don't blame you. I do too. I find it very hard to stop committing the same sins over. I constantly have to keep apologizing each day. I'm lucky I didn't die because I would have died in unrepentant sin. I don't want to go into the lake of fire either.

Try to start reading the Bible. A chapter a day, is a good start. I highly recommend, to spend time reading the Gospels, so you know for sure, what Jesus was teaching, and what he did. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The bible warns of many false teachers. You're going to be vulnerable to them, if you don't know God's word, which you have access to in the Bible. The more you grow in God's word, the less vulnerable you will be to attacks by the enemy. I read you want to hear from God in another thread. Well, you will, if you spend time in his truth and word.

You now fight a war, between your spirit, which wants to live for God, and your flesh, which is your old self that wants the world. Its a struggle we all face, and will continue to in our lives here. Even Paul, who wrote a bunch of the epistles, mentions having to deal with this, himself. Paul is also someone you'll want to learn about, and read his letters. He started off persecuting the early church. He literally had people killed, who were the first followers of Jesus. Yet, Jesus (after his resurrection) stopped Paul on the road to Damascus, and turned him into a mighty servant to share the gospel to the gentiles. This dude did much worse than you and I will. Paul's life is a great example of God's love.

When I read your posts here, I can feel your struggle, because I went through the same thought process for many years. I still have sin in my life, but I can't win it myself. Only God can. It took me a long time to realize that.

For myself, while I use to have your mindset too, about being a lost cause, I just couldn't let go of God. To the point, I prayed once to God that, if I don't make it to heaven, at least use my life to save someone else.

To end this reply, I want you to know that God loves you. I love you. And many people here love you!

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. —2 Timothy 2:15

I think you should speak to a doctor about your fears. If its a health condition medicine may help. I agree you spend too much time absorbing opinions and not enough with the Source. You can’t rightly divide the truth if you don’t know it.

I recommend the YouVersion app. You’ll find bible reading plans and multiple versions free of charge. Since you like video, here’s a message about Prioritizing Your Priorities that reiterates the feedback you’ve received.

Have you ever felt as though you’ve been doing all the right things, but nothing’s working out? Tony Evans reminds us through Scripture that the challenge of living as an overcomer starts with our willingness to return to our first love, our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dr. Evans is a good preacher. I’ve seen him in person many times. Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley, and David Jeremiah are others you may want to listen to on that site. They have an app as well.

Read Romans 7 about 20 times in a row until you realize the following points:
1) Paul, the greatest Christian and evangelist who ever lived and who serves as our model (1 Tim 1:16), struggled with sin constantly. If this fact doesn't give you some peace, I don't know what will.
2) Paul tells us that we will continue to sin as long as we are trapped in these bodies.
Ok now read Romans 8:1. Yay!.. But wait it is conditional upon walking after the Spirit and I feel like most of the time I'm walking after the flesh.. Continue reading..
When you get to Romans 8:9-10 you discover that none of the proceeding verses applied to you although you thought they did as you were reading them. You learn that if you are saved, then the Spirit is in you (v11) and that with every decision you have the choice to walk after the flesh OR the Spirit. That brings us full circle back to Romans 7 where Paul had talked about desiring to do the things of the Spirit but sometimes doing the things of the flesh.

Hopefully that helped!

The only unforgivable sin is not having acceptedtaccepted Holy Spirit and accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior by the end. As long as you're trying to follow the commands given in the Bible, you'll be fine even though you'll never be able to avoid sin completely, only Jesus could ever do that.

as someone who suffers this and other mental health disorders, can i ask why you are not seeing a doctor? is it because fo the cost? because if i had not got on medicationa nd into therapy i would have died by now from suicide. i think it woudl help you to see someone. and by the way there is NO scripture which forbids seeing a doctor, taking meds or having psychotherapy.

Hello! You seem very anxious and worried. If I’m being completely honest, I’m kind of anxious about the rapture happening at any moment. I mean, how will it happen? It’s overwhelming to think about sometimes, especially when you feel like you won’t be going to heaven. Although you say you have sinned many times, God took care of that already. 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
You have to be sincere when you repent, though, and actually try to stop sinning. But remember, no ones perfect! Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Now if you believe you have a mental illness causing you to stress, rest for a few days and think about how you are feeling. If you calm down and believe you were feeling anxious for just a moment, then that’s great. But if you still feel anxious day and night, maybe see a psychiatrist. Although there is so much chaos going on in the world right now, remember this bible verse: John 16:33 says "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." So although you feel burdened, remember Jesus died so that you could live, so live!‍

You have to be sincere when you repent, though, and actually try to stop sinning. But remember, no ones perfect!

If one is “ Trying” to get to Heaven , the Standard IS Perfection! That is the “ Curse” Of The Law.If one Tries to take the Legal Route , thinking he can conjure up some type of Performance level that God will find acceptable and Make him “ fit for Heaven”, that person is as Lost as an Eskimo in the Sahara Desert ...
When Jesus said, “ You are to be Perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is Perfect—— He meant it! Bad News indeed......
Thanks to the Love and Grace Of God , we now have “ Good News!” Give God what He is Truly looking for— FAITH in the Gospel Of 1cor15:1-4 and He will GIVE you a Gift ......one that you can never earn and God doesn’t expect you to earn ( never forget it is a GIFT! )
Simply Believe and REST in these two facts— Jesus died for your sins and He rose from the grave—- and God will “ Clothe You” with the Righteousness and Perfection Of His Son . It’s the best deal one could ever imagine. Jesus gets your sins, and You get His Righteousness....all you have to do is Believe it.....can you do that? How you answer that question will determine your Eternal Fate......God Bless....

First off, we all screw up. It's impossible in these bodies. Not that it means its an excuse to mess up of course.

However there are two ways of sinning. Knowingly sinning, which is choosing to do the sin even though you know its wrong ahead of time. And there is accidentally sinning. Like if someone cuts you off in traffic and you swear on accident. You didn't mean to and you prayer for forgiveness and try to work harder to not do such things.

I used to be the first, now I am the second. I'm not perfect of course. I never will be. But I try my best.
