No More Pills

Its been almost over a week since I took them demon filled pills.
I dont not want to slip...... again
I cannot continue that path anylonger, or I will end up dead. My son will have no father. 2 years of intense weight lifting efforts will disintigrate in the mirror. I can kiss my Job good bye, co's how can I help others if I can let God help me or help myself.
I cant slip again...........
Please God no more pills

I usually post in the men's corner, but I really need help with this.
The first step I am told is admitting that I have a problem, which is why I decided to post in this forum in front of you guys. I thank you for your prayers.
I am addicted to a drug called BZP (cattle dip)
It makes doing my job much easier, but it makes living my life much, much harder. it has quickly destroyed my head.
The doc has given me some anti depressants to take to raise my serotonin levels, which is apparently what I'm lacking. I hope they work.
If you look in the mens cnr I go into a bit more detail about it all. I have made alot of good friends there, so its nice to get a womens point of view as well, women can be a bit more practical than men. thanx again.
But as I'm learning Christians are awsome people all round.

I started taking antidepressants about 2 months ago, and I believe they are working. I would also highly recommend some exercise for the seratonin. Just a little walking is all you'll need, just to get the heartrate elevated. It works wonders.

Please stay strong. See a counselor if you need to. It helps to have someone's undevided attention for an hour a week or whatever. Don't give up. I totally have faith in you.

Depression and asbergers syndrome
Including zooloft happens to be one of them.

I am a Substance Abuse Counselor here in the U.S.--but I am not familiar with BZP. What does it do for you?? How does it make doing your job easier??
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN A SUBSTANCE. You may feel like a failure in some ways. Yeah--you've made some mistakes--(haven't we all!!)but you can write a new chapter in your life & start new!! By reaching out here for help--you have already begun writing that new chapter. GET PLENTY OF SUPPORT. I absolutely agree with the CF member who said to get professional help if it is available to you. Any positive support you can get will help you see your worth as a person & help you find ways of getting what you want in ways that are healthier. I would be terribly lacking if I forget to tell you to PRAY PRAY PRAY. Cry out to God. Let God know your struggles & sorrows & ask for His guidance in your life. Be assured of my prayers for you.
