no brain power

Ever since I got pregnant, it's like the energy that used to go to my brain is now going to growing that little one inside me. For example, I'm taking the two classes (6 credits) I need to finish my degree, and doing that seems harder than when I was taking 17 credits at once. I also haven't been able to write (I'm attempting to start out as a Christian fiction writer) since I got pregnant. I have one story that just needs some final editing, which shouldn't be that hard, and even that is a struggle for me to get done. Does anyone else feel like this?

Yep, I remember that too, although it does pass, and you might find that a few weeks before your due date, you will have some energy to get everything done before the baby arrives.

I am convinced I turned stupid upon conception! I can't remember things, words come out all jumbled up, I can't get anything done. I've had friends tell me they had the same problem.

My husband always knows I'm pregnant before I do, because I get really forgetful, and I start dropping everything...

I know all about the balance thing, I have to walk the stairs slowly now, I live on the third floor of a three floor apartment building. It is not fun, cause before I was pregnant I was a clutz, and now I am more of one.

I agree...one of my highlights was when I was talking to my mom about something and forgot my husbands name...and I have asked some stupid questions to my husband and then realize how stupid they sounded and just tell him nevermind...he thinks this is hilarious. I have been just so drained...I am pretty lucky with the sickness thing..for two weeks straight I couldnt eat anything and barely kept liquids down I was so sick...then one morning I asked for chocolate milk and my nausea has been gone for about four or five days now...knock on wood...but before that the living room and bathroom was my hang outs. Our house is a mess!
