  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would love to go see this movie! I intend on seeing it as soon as it comes out. I'm glad it's had good reviews. Normally I can't stand Ben Stiller, but yes he looks good in this movie.

I love the line when he says it's not worth the money. I can't remember the exact line, it was in the trailer.

We saw it today. It was much better than we'd thought. Funny, family friendly, action packed, good performances.
It made me want to visit the museum.
Me too! I really liked it.

It was a fun movie -- especially since I hadn't even heard anything other than the title before I saw it. I didn't even know it was a comedy.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. :)

Glad to see all the good reviews, sometimes it's just so refreshing to enjoy a good "fun" movie. I am looking forward to it.

My daughter saw it recently and loved it. She particularly enjoyed Mickey Rooney's part. (I think she said..Mickey) I didn't know he was still in films. Anyway, hope to see it before it leaves the theatres and if not maybe later on DVD. So many movies are downers...but from what I have heard this one is what we can call "entertaining."

I saw this movie with my son...I thought it was pretty good and it certainly was suitable for my 11-yr old son. I thought that Micky Rooney and Owen Wilson were a riot. And I agree with the others that said that Robin Williams was good as usual.

The rest of the cast besides Ben Stiller seems great. Unfortunately, I don't find Ben Stiller funny. At all. People are like "What, you didn't think 'Meet the Parents' was funny?!" I say yes, but that was due mostly in part to his interaction with Robert DeNiro. *shrug*
