In Deuteronomy 6:4-5 The Lord our God, the Lord is one, love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (NIV)
This verse above should be our very first goal as we travel down this road of life.
I feel if our relationship with God was the way of the verse, I think our lives would change so much that Jesus would shine in us so bright that the world would want exactly what we have.
In verse 7 of Deuteronomy 6, Impress them on your children, tells us God wants the next generation to live and love and show others this true light in their hearts.
The world needs Jesus and God wants us to send the next generation out into the world ready and prepared. So they can show others and generations to come can also live by these verses in Deuteronomy 6:4-5; verse 7.
So, before we sleep at night, let's impress them on our children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Learning to communicate God's Love and responding and living it, shows our children how to live and our children also takes it out into the world and shows others God's love and strengthens relationships with God and their friends and also in the family home.
