hmmmm ... what can one do in just 24 hours?

family are all the other side of the atlantic, so I guess I'd send them an email saying "au revoir"

my wife is my soul-mate, so I think I'd spend the day holding her, knowing we'd be together again one day and thanking her for introducing me to the Lord ..

I have spent many happy vacations in south/central france - the way of life there seems to have stayed in a time before the world entered the violent, commercialist downward spiral it's in now ... so, somewhere south of the Dordogne river, in a sleepy village!

hmmmm ... so many things I used to love to eat at home that I can't find here ...

steak and kidney pudding - just like my mum used to make when I was a boy - because it would make me feel a little closer to my elderly parents

IF a death row inmate wishes to stop all appeals, should the state accommodate him?

Should a child conceived by artificial insemination have the right to have his biological parents identity revealed to him/her?

How do you decide whether or not to give money to a “homeless” person?

IF a death row inmate wishes to stop all appeals, should the state accommodate him? As I believe the death penalty for murder is supported by Jesus' teachings, yes - without a doubt

Should a child conceived by artificial insemination have the right to have his biological parents identity revealed to him/her? I find it difficult to think of any circumstances where this would be constructive of beneficial to any of the parties involved

How do you decide whether or not to give money to a homeless person? There have been so many incidences of "homeless" people being proved to be merely lazy con-artists, I prefer to contribute to local charities and shelters

Where is the first thing you go or look at when you log on to CF? User control panel to see if there are any new postings on threads I have subscribed to

Should 911 footage be shown on TV? Difficult one, as so many people merely view through morbid curiosity. If the sole purpose is education and remembrance (as in the pictures of the Jewish holocaust) I believe it is defensible - though most cases are, I believe, for "entertainment"

What is the relationship if any between morals and ethics? morals are subjective and will differ from person to person and culture to culture, forming the basis of what is right and what is wrong and will, by definition, be applied by a particular person to the world in general ... ethics tend to be more "code orientated" and specific to a certain group or profession, generally governed by a set of rules and, whilst (presumably) originally written from a moral standpoint, are rigidly and objectively applied.

Have you ever been guilty of racism or sexism in the workplace and if so how would you correct the situation? not consciously since becoming an adult, though I am sure I was guilty of various discriminations (mainly through peer pressure) during my younger years ..
