Newbie Coming Through!

Hey!
I'm new here so I guess I should introduce myself...My name is Erica. I am 14 years of age and am a recently rededicated Christian. I am a freshman at a local public high school and I am a holy spirit warrior!
I became a Christian about 3 years ago and the devil has really attacked me over and over. I would ususally give up and try to live without God but lately God has really revealed to me that he has plans for my life and he wants me to fight the Devil. Why? Because the Devil is a lier! I know that God loves me and thjat I don't have to be discouraged anymore.
I love God and I plan on becoming a youth pastor when I get out of high school. Probably a nurse too. I want to go to Cumberland College here in Kentucky. Its a small Liberal Arts Christian Colllege with over 40 majors and its not that far from home.
I can't wait to meet some new friends on here. Pray that God will give me the strength to fight! I love you guys!

I think that most of us go through that battle with pride where we try to go it our own way from time to time. God will see you through though! Keep running to him! I'm using too many exclamation marks! Teehee!

Oh yeah.. I heard someone say once "If the devil isn't attacking you, you aren't doing it right." Kinda makes sense to me. If he doesn't see the way you follow the Lord as a threat to his plans, he'll just leave you alone. So... If that's true, Holy Spirit Warrior, keep up the good work!

Hey yall! I just wanted to say thanks for the welcoming! It feels great to be accepted automatically.
I've heard that saying..."If the devil isn't attacking you, your doing something wrong." I totally agree and I know the Devil is intimidated by a spirit filled Christian. So thanks for reminding me.
About the me trying to live without God...It wasn't about pride at all. It was simply me messing up getting disgouraged and giving up. Thats a prob. of mine. I'm working on it though. Thanks for the concern.
