Replacement theology, what are your thoughts?

Replacement theology, what are your thoughts?
That term sounds so fickle... it paints God as arbitrary and puts no onus on the Israelites.
It's more like ' requirement and fulfilment'...
Is this the same as replacement doctrine?
The prophesy of Dan 9:24 say it all...
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The Jewish nation was given 490 years to come back to the covenant with God which they did not do. The stoning of Stephen in 34 AD was the end of this period of probation for them. The testimonies of Paul and John verify this fact....
