New to This

I am new to this RPG by this means. I was part of a cummunity called Nia's Tavern with this Caricter and wanted to bring him here but don't know much about getting into a world. If someone is hosting a particulary simple world please pm and I will be glad to join in. you may want to give me some pointers as well as again I am new at RPG'ing in a forum like this. the best thing would be to look at the first page of a story thread and see whether that appeals, and if so, jump in.
we have three categories here, you might want to start from a category that you like.
Christia, New world, or RPG based on movies and books.

I have started the process of figuring things out around here but I would like to find a pic that represents my caricter. My first post has his discription would someone know where to start looking? Or would someone be willing to make a pic similar to what I am describing a pm me it.

Just click on their username within the thread you want to join. There should be a drop-down menu that'll give you an option to PM that person. (PMing the GM is the best way to go... though in some cases an admin IS the GM!)

Thanks for the advice, but I've already tried that and it won't allow me to PM until I've had at least 100 posts so now I've either got to be patient or do some heavy duty typing!

By the by, pardon my cyber-ignorance, but how do you link your character's bio into the thread you are playing? I haven't been able to find any instructions on how to do this.

I tried to pm one of the administrators and I got a warning screen when I tried to send. It said I had to have at least 100 posts before I could send pm's. I'm not really that computer literate, just enough to log on and enjoy really, but it seemed reasonable at the time. Anyway, I got the situation resolved w/ your help, Lady Firehawk, thank you very much.
