New to CFRpg

As the title says I'm new to CFRPG. I have played RPG's before, but none were ever post-by-post RPG's. I kinda grabbed the concept of how playing post-by-post worked, but I'm still a complete newbie and am probably missing a lot.

What I'm looking for:
I'm seeing if there is anyone out there that can take me by the hand and assist me in creating a character, bio, and my posts.

I'm not asking for someone to do it for me, but as an example if I create my character, bio, and posts I would like if I could PM this to someone (preferably someone that is in an adventure I join or am invited to) and have them look over it give me ideas and make sure I'm going in the right direction.

It's not so much that I don't beleive in myself or my ability to learn, but I do lack good writing skills as you can tell by my post.

P.S. I have read portions of some of the ongoing adventures, and I want to give kudos to many of you. Your writing skills are remarkable.

P.S.S. I'd like to do something that's on CF and not an outside source such as MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc., becuase I don't have nor use those services, and I might not be able to meet you all at the time that you are requesting.
