It would seem, this is what you want. You were the proponent of the tag system.

The tag system was not originated with me - I wanted a separate "Futurists only end times forum' separate from this one.

But now that we have the tag system, I think it is going to greatly improve this forum. And the sort feature is great - will become more apparent later on down the road as use of tags become more popular.

I certainly don't qualify to post in several of the tag designations. But I recognize that them holding the notion of those particular tags have a right to interact and post - without opponents to the fundamental premise of the tag, creating abrasion and diversion.

Do you read of any counter-arguments by the Galatians in the text. Paul used tags. The Galatians couldn't post in the New Testament. Really....BAB2, that was not a discussion board. This is.

Perhaps they would have been compelled to be circumcised in order to be a Christian.

That is completely faulty reasoning. We are talking about a discussion board, the eschatology discussion forum at Christian Forums, the use of tags. This is classic of your diversion modus operandi.... me siding with the Judaisers... sheesh.

Just hold one of these camels at arms length ..... and do not let him in your tent

When you work with BaB, who will always linger around your tent .... you just have to act a bit like he does and take your shot

.... and at the same time use his own agenda to prove out your stuff

And you will never run out of material .... because he always comes back for more, and you do not have to be concerned about what he does on the outside of your's

Apply this strategy to any poster who comes to honk at you and you will not need your tagging methodology

However, you do need a forum that will allow for you to discipline some people with using their own crass behavior against them from time to time .... otherwise they will try to entice you to break a forum rule and then report you

If this is the case the best policy is to ignore them altogether

What BAB2 should do, imo, is start a debate tagged thread on whatever topic that you and he agree to debate over - and call it "point - counterpoint (then insert the subject)". You both need an outlet, imo. And you both have a commonality - to duke it out .

What BaB does in his dancing around with irrelevant stuff can be dealt with once understood for what it is ....virtually all those with his theological agenda do this thing [preteristic/amil/post/replacement theology]

And you can use his tendencies to demonstrate your agenda, as you just did

Do not take away this tactical battle advantage for yourself by staying out of the ring .... those with your Bible teaching stature must be active and fighting the good fight in the midst of the calmor

Use the appropriate standard safe zone offered by the forum for your own comprehensive theological view, and then frequent the main forum arena for evaluating the topical subjects of the day

The one that you would pick will have posters for the most part who do not behave in the manner of the preteristic/amil/post/replacement theology crowd

If they come there to banter where they are not to be .... just report them

The use of tags will allow me to present my thoughts pursuant to a start-to-finish end times scenario with continuity that I could not achieve without tags.

I am still going to post in untagged threads. But now I got tools that I didn't have before.

Combating with certain posters takes up a lot of time - that essentially ends up as a waste, when that time could be used more effectively using other means.

What I am about is pursuing a likely start-to-finish scenario, understanding all the prophecies - not in a fragmented manner - but how they all fit together.

You are a better fit for combat with BAB2, and vice versa, than me. You both are opposed to tags. You both like to duke it out. So make the system work for you, and one of you should start a debate tag - centering on some mutually disagreed subject - maybe one that will come up - and others could chime in as they feel obliged to do. "Point - counterpoint (subject) ".
