CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

To be honest, I am not excited about it, though I am curious about the improved production value and the theme song ^^.
Sailor Moon never completely clicked with me, because I felt like the other sailor scouts would be preferable as lead, Usagi's kid was a brat, I did not understood how she could have become queen of the world and I found Mamoru very underwhelming and useless with his tuxedo and rose, compared to the girls.
Then again, I was generally not too fond of what was "too girly". So I was biased from the onset

You may actually enjoy the revamp when it comes out. Usagi is noticeably more mature in the manga and Mamoru is more of a side-character. Also, their romance is depicted in a more realistic way. It's still totally shoujo! But the manga is of a much higher calibur than the first anime series.

Maybe I will enjoy it then. In the "old" Sailor Moon anime, I just did not connect with Usagi at any level. She was the opposite of me and I felt that someone like Venus would have been better as leader.
But if she gets her act together and is less of a ditzy blonde, I might just take a liking to her

I never liked the English version. The Japanese version you get a better picture of who the characters are. I always enjoy good character development so watching that shine actually got me to watch through Stars.

No but there is to be an announcement. The musical is back. I hope they don't being it to the USA. I hated Neptune and Uranus relationship in the Dub. I understand they were lesbians but you hate incest. They kept much of the romantic parts

In the original, they weren't even cousins. They were lovers but when it came to the US, it was changed in the dub because it was a kid based company.
But they still couldn't get rid of a lot of things and it just make it awkward.
