Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i kind of miss the animated smilies..like the banana and the one that clapped...BUT...i DO like that the new mood smilies have an actual WORD saying the actual mood..so i cant decide..in some way these are better and some ways not..lol...i take a while to get used to change anyway

Yeah, thanks Erwin. Take away Christ's name, but give us new smileys. Seems like a fair trade-off.

I wish they had one like your avatar. I think it would be the most popular one evah.Haha, Hopper -- I think some experimentation is in order -- plenty of new options to play with.
It sort of sums up all the moods into one. We should make it the official site emblem.

But we gots angels - the very messengers of God, what floats around and cries, "holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty!" Maybe they do a better job of prayin' anywho. But I do so miss it as my mood thingie.
Still, it does kinda look like a prayer box, don't it? Maybe I'll just keep the prayer box.

We are saved by the blood of Christ and called into relationship with Him. Where is relationship without prayer?
Maybe someone not being in the "prayer mood" caused this new "foru.ms" ???
I don't see a prayer box hopper.
Anywho, I don't care about a mood box.
My priorities are a bit different erwin. But certainly I'm sure some will thank you for each bone you throw them...or is it each crumb you drop?
