Hello to all,

On my way home from work today the Lord placed it on my heart to search for a Christian site where I could find growth and fellowship. My search found me here. I look forward to meeting other members of the Church!

A little bit about me:
I grew up in New York as one of ten siblings and graduated high school in 1976 and then entered the United States Air Force. It was on June 6, 1982 when I personally met Jesus my savior. Since that day, in spite of my many shortcomings, the Lord has continued to shape my life to serve alongside others who have experienced spiritual rebirth and are part of the Church, the Body of Christ. I now reside in New Jersey and am blessed with a beautiful family, wonderful fellowship, and best of all eternal life found in Jesus.

Welcome to the site! Very nice to meet you. I don’t know if you would be interested in Bible Study Fellowship, but it is a worldwide organization that has meetings just about everywhere (even online). We are studying the life of David this year. Basically, we meet one day per week for two hours (for men it is usually in the evening). We start out in a big group, sing a couple of hymns, then have small group where we answer the discussion questions for the previous week. After that, we come back to the large group for the lecture. Over the course of the nine months (goes along with the typical “school year”), we get to know our small group really well, having 3 to 4 fellowships. If you are interested in learning more, their website is http://www.mybsf.org. Once again, great to meet you! I will be praying for you.
