Hello everyone,
My name is Joey Michael Roddy and I am a new member here at this website. I was born in Houma, Louisiana, North America on Wednesday, April 3, 1985 with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Autistic Disability and asthma. The asthma didn't take affect till I was about 3 years old. My asthma throughout the years has been wearing off. I praise God for his healing power. I have one sister who was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1983 and one brother who was born on Friday, November 14, 1986. My sister is the first born, I am the middle second born child and my brother is the third born. As children back in our childhood days, our father was out every day on music gigs while our mother was passed out sleeping on the floor most of the time. We had a bad childhood experience as a result of a dysfunctional family. Our parents were divorced in the year of 1993, but the divorce papers were finalized in the year of 1996. When our parents got divorced, our father went to live in Texas while our mother stayed in Louisiana.
I play the piano/keyboard by ear. I discovered this natural talent of music at the age of eleven in the year of 1996 that was passed down from on my dad's side of the family. However, this is a gift that God alone gave me and I praise him for it. I currently live with my mother and my brother in Thibodaux, Louisiana in a government apartment complex. I lost my job twice and I am currently unemployed due to no transportation issues while praying that God opens up doors for employment in his timing. I lead worship at a church called Promise Of Life Worship Center which is a small non-denominational church building. I also lead worship at invited churches, meetings and other Christianity functions. I am also a member of the Gideon International Ministry. They place bibles in motels and hotels. They also do jail ministry and hand out pocket sized new testament Gideon bibles on school grounds to students.
Well, I apologize for the long brief summary biography of myself. I am glad to be here and among other true believers in Jesus Christ. I am forever grateful for salvation and the privilege to be part of the body of Jesus Christ. To God be all the glory forever in Jesus name, amen.
