New Member with query

Greetings,

I'm new here but not new to computers, the internet, forums, and BBSing.

I became a Christian at age 15 but my theology has changed quite a bit since then.

I am a believer in Christ, but I am also a believer in Conditional Immortality and the belief that souls do not ascend directly to heaven or hell, but are most likely in a state of sleep until judgement. I hold other views that some might consider "liberal", on others still, the jury is still out.

I say that not to start a debate or discussion here in the Introductions forum, but to inquire as to what forums my beliefs might limit me to, as I am not quite aligned with "the mainstream".

My wife just pointed out to me that my username might be confused to mean "ex believer". That is not the case. As you may have guessed, the "Cndx" stands for "Conditional".

Welcome Tim. I don't think those beliefs limit you as far as posting go, but the rule they use here is whether you adhere to the Nicene Creed, which doesn't really say anything about that. You may want to check with a mod/admin though.

I have been on other "Christian" forums but have found that even the most polite of postings that stray outside of the very small box of doctrine that they don't consider heresy is quickly stamped out. My beliefs generally don't fit in that box, but this board seems more open.
