My faith is not strong, and I am afraid of my faith getting stronger than now, I was once a victim and took peoples sins on to myself and sorted them out in the best way I could as I thought that other people do not know God like I do, so I should help them.

So my faith has dwindled over the years and now I am wondering about God again, and of God's purpose for me, I find it truly amazing how God made each and every one of us unique from our fingertips to our signatures to our irises and DNA. Even animals I think share this quality of life from God. I find it also amazing the whole process of how life is made and born.

I hope my faith continues to grow in these little things, that come from God, as I have a lot of life to live after giving up on it for many years.

quartzy,
When I was starting out in college, I was a psychology major. I wanted to help people deal wih their "inner demons". I had a friend in town who was friends with a family with both parents being pyschologists. They eventually divorced and their kids went wildly rampant.
It is evidently tough to help people without geting caught up in the quagmire of life. I don't know if psychologists have higher divorce rates, or worse quality of life than anyone else, but I think I can see how it could happen. We can't fix other people.

We love others, we help others, we can give advice, but they have to fix themselves. Well, sort of. Each of us has to learn to rely on God. I suppose He is the only one that can fix things, but he will not force himself on us. But you know this already.

quartzy, I am praying for you. I am praying that you can help by showing your love to others in a time of need, and also that others will be there for you when you need a little pick-me-up.

Be strong, love.

thank you both for contributing to my post, I do need to learn how to love others without trying to sort their lives out, it is hard to know how to love when little love has come my way I guess. But I am learning, I only posted just yesterday to someone to tell them that they need a debt counsellor and another person posted with a post that was full of support and love, I would love to be able to do that for someone.

You are doing that quartzy. Look at how many people just view at a post and don't reply. I think each of those viewers is probably trying and suporting in their own way. You took the time to type. That means you took the time to read, think of something supportive and loving, and took a leap of faith and offered what was on your mind.
You are physicaly showing your love to people on this website by typing messages to them. You are acting on God has put on your mind! It doesn't get much better than that.

When I post a message, I am not competing with the others posters. We, as Christians are all adding our support, helping the originator of the post, and hopefully, others that may be simply reading and praying.

I am very happy and feel blessed that you have confided in me and allowed my to discuss things of such a personal matter. Don't feel blue. Jesus came and did it all for you, and you are helping others see that he did it all for them, too.

Keep fighting the good fight!

Bless yer heart. We take EVERYTHING and EVERYONE to God, dear heart, and leave it ALL there. He shoulders it all. He is the intervener, and the Healer, and Sorter-Out-er, precious. He invites you, His child to "rest" in Him. TRUST HIM to carry the burdens that you cannot and were never meant to. Praying that He ministers to you as only He can, dear one. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.
