Welcome....I am a Christian and though I like the look of some piercings, I don't have any personally, but I think that the bible says something about it. I know it mentions tattoos and I think at the same time covers the piercings subject. I will go research now and get back to you when I find it right outtta the word!

I just typed up a whole answer to this, then clicked the "post quick reply" button, but something happened and it didn't post, so here I go again:

First thing I learned was that piercings are considered a sin necessarily. I knew this all along, but I guess I just needed to prove to myself that I was right. I think it's the motivation behind the piercing that makes it essentially "good" or "bad."

Second, I learned that my navel ring was in fact not infected; it's supposed to do what it's doing.

I like these forums... I'd checked out other Christian forums, but none were so open as to even think about discussing piercings and other topics such as that.
