Hi everyone, I just joined CF a couple of days ago, and really enjoying it. I've actually been looking for a good Christian forum on the web, and then ran across this site.
Anyway, a little about me - name's Dimitri (aka Dima). Yes, it's a Russian name, I'm originally from Ukraine (Crimean peninsula to be exact). I've lived here in Seattle, WA for the past seven years though. As you might be able to tell, English is not my first language, but I get by with what I have
I've known Christ since I was little, because I had the privilege to be born in a Christian family. I really gave my heart to God four years ago, and try to stay true to Him in my daily walk.
If you find a moment, I would love to have a quick prayer that I might focus more and more on the Lord, and strive to give everything I have to Him. I've been trying to devote more time to daily reading of the Bible and prayer, but there's always obstacles.
I hope to have a good time here, and that we all may grow closer to Jesus and do His Will. In the couple of days that I've been here some of the discussions have really encouraged me towards God. Simple things like polls that ask how much time we devote to daily reading of Bible or prayer.
God bless you all!
