there is a new journal entitled 'journal of the jesus movement in its jewish setting'. Although it is only published once a year the first journal runs in excess of 150 pages and contains some very good materials which are academically sound. The best thing of all is that it is free.

I am for anything that will bring Jews to Jesus

But from my understanding, many of those would probably reject the Apostle Paul's epistles. Which I guess is ok.

These "assemblies [ekklesias]" were attracting some non-Jews, but nevertheless dedicated to practicing and promoting Judaism for non-Jews as well as Jews. In other words, I propose to that we should be investigating Paul's Judaism in the intra-communal context of other Jewish groups, including other groups of followers of Jesus, which together with Paul's groups represented a coalition we might describe as Apostolic Judaism.[/FONT]
