Question - WHY was this forum set up that only Christians by your definition can post in it? Do you seriously think those not falling under your definition of Christian yet who post here have no problems and the need for such a forum???

I'm kinda disappointed!:sigh:

 Hello, Rochir.

I'm ConstanceB, and I'm a believer. I know I speak for many when I say that Christians are less likely to seek "peer" support where they don't feel safe. I'm sure that the first Christian who appears in the forum to chide someone about their faith or lack of it, to accuse them of lack of maturity, or to "prove" their interpretation of Scripture is immature will be unwelcome.

I might be seeking specific prayer or anointing, or want to share my experience with laying on of hands. In these issues, I'd feel too vulnerable in a forum where I'm not safe.

Bottom line again is this: you are sure to feel slighted at times because this is ChristianForums. Someone else decides whether my opinions are appropriate, and I must acquiesce. My feelings might be stung, but this site is a business with a heirarchy, and not a democracy. I don't have a vote.

Perhaps if this forum progresses in a relatively trouble-free pattern, a trial run -- like this one -- may be offered for all members. However, I don't envy them the job of finding moderators.

So you're saying that even though Non Christians can be members and part of this community and form friendships with many OCs, the moment they (the NCs experience such problems like self-injuring themselves, they should just go and find another site andboard where to find help?

What if they wish to seek help amongst their friends here? Or do you believe NCs are somehow unworthy of being helped here?
