New Feature: Latest Blog Entry on Home Page :)

Hi all

I added a Latest Blog Entry section to the Foru.ms homepage, just under Latest Gallery Photos.

If a member has hidden the blog entries from guests, it won't show up on the homepage.

Not the best idea for everyone's blog. If using the hide from guests will not show it on the main page (to members too), then that's good though I do think there's a problem with just making these things automatic overnight, without warning... Some may want more attention to their blog, though many probably will not.

You can switch it off if you disallow guests to read them.

I appreciate the fact that we can opt out of having our blogs on the main page. I'm glad mine was already switched off to guests. I would not have been happy if my blog was randomly on the main page for everyone to see. I don't mind people reading it, but I don't want it to get THAT much attention.

The same thing goes for pictures. I'm fine with sharing my pictures but I am not comfortable with them being on the main page.

Mosts blogs are personal and do not neet public attention. Mmmost people making Blogs do not want allot of attention for me i sure don't want all the public attention.

Blogs share very personal informational things. I feel it should be kept in Christian Blogs. Blogs are a way to vent and somethings should not be aired tp the public

Hi Erwin,
I hope you might reconsider this feature. We have already had a few reports in the Ministry Reports related to information showing on the home page as far as language and support of non-Christian beliefs. I know that the Posters were angry that we asked for edits because they were their blogs - however the reports reported them off of the homepage. I am just asking that you think about reconsidering this feature - I know it would help us as moderators of the forum.

Well, I was all excited about starting mine 2 years ago.

Then, some bug got into it; preventing my accessing all the pages -
so... This week, I Deleted all these hours... I spent posting.

With no interest in it anymore, would someone please Delete my blog-account itself.
