Entertainment and Christianity are of course important. While this information is still under review and will not fit everyone or every circumstance, there may be a new way to categorize Christian entertainment that can help it to reach people or simply entertain. Non christians can use it too, but their results may not be as good.
In my experience, this new classification really can work. It has the potential to really boost the appeal factor of a project. However, it must be used with caution. It is important not to judge people who like certain categories over others. It actually seems common to like many but there will be some to avoid.
These classifications are based on the book of Job, but are na way in the Bible. You must be careful of this as well. This is not for the church. This is to take Bible lessons into entertainment where they might do some good. Here are the basics of each category. If it inspires you to test these ideas or make a project, go ahead and use them.
Bear Entertainment
Inspired by the bear walking out with it's cubs, Bear Entertainment includes short, family friendly projects. Usually these are single movies or one time stories without sequels. The art and creative styles can vary wildly and boring themes must be excluded. Strong, leader like lead players are best.
Lion Entertainment
This group may center around simple but fun day in the life stories about families or groups of friends. This is similar to many cartoons and comics aimed at kids, but it should ideally include educational material. Soft, strong, and sometimes creative leads are best.
Goat Entertainment
This category may be best with material aimed at kids only (lion can appeal to adults). A lot of people basically understand what this is and why it is important. The leads should challenge, entertain, and protect children.
Donkey Entertainment
These series could appeal to people who love small animals of all kinds. They have some mild adult themes, but should be approachable and humble projects. Note that this does not include ugly works that are very common in America. The leads are humble and important, and should never be cut down.
Ox Entertainment
This should include entertainment that may be a little bit rough or adult for most kids, but is generally safe and friendly. It may be much more romantic and gentle for women than men. Note that this category does not include the foolish, ugly works common in America. It should challenge and instruct it's audience and treat them with respect.
Ostrich Entertainment
This can include some very adult comedies that celebrate joy, wordplay, and unique visuals. It is not for kids and represents a very loose, entertaining style. The reason it may work well is that it requires leads that may remind women of birds. This category has na male learning, but they are not excluded.
Horse Entertainment
This category can combine fiercely intense subjects with gentler themes such as loyalty. It is not for kids, but it can range from simple superhero projects to graphic subjects. It is for people who want challenges and will not learn much from safer choices. Most Christians who like it have a desire to protect others from it. It features fast and tough leads and has na male appeal. This is for women, but men can learn a little.
Hawk Entertainment
This is mostly for men and has little appeal for women. It represents tough, serious series that often seem well grounded in reality. It can develop unfair controversy and should be protected when it does a good job of representing Christianity. The leads will remind most men of birds.
Behemoth Entertainment
These are often humourous and gentle series about big players of all kinds. They can make good mascots too since they are laid back and approachable. They can be for kids, but there is always a sense of untrustworthiness. When done right, it should be obvious that this is a good thing and lets people make smarter decisions. It also says whoever needs the mascot can admit his or her own shortcomings and be more appealing than aggressive ones.
Leviathan Entertainment.
This often includes fierce, desirable subjects that can go on and on in terms of giving it's audience tough subjects. There is often not much kindness or generosity, but the right audiences will actually get Christian messages from it. It can develop controversy and is definitely not for kids, but it rewards those looking for challenges as well. A lot of the reason it may be loved is that sinful actions, which are common in all categories, may be out in the open rather than hidden. A lot of men and women will like this, but it is different leads for each. The best leads may remind others of reptiles.
