  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I recrntly got engaged. I am lookign for any ideas on how to live a godly life and a godly marriage. I am a new Christian. This man is the first Christian man I have been in a romantic relationship with. We both have similar disabilites. We both do not have a lot of experience in the romantic or dating world.

If anyone has any way we could study the bible together and bring eachother closer to God please let me know. I want to help him find God and he wants to help me find God. Both of our living and life situations are simmilar and I think that is what brought us together.

I am looking for ways I can improve my future husband and my relationship. I am looking for ways to learn to trust and to love him. If you ahve any idea or tips please let me know. Thank you.

Congratulations!

There are several resources I've enjoyed for marriage prep.

Before You Say "I Do" by Wright and Roberts was a good prep guide

Created to be His Help Meet by Debi Pearl really turned around my view on Biblical womanhood and submission. A woman at church let me read it and it really had a profound impact on me.
