  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

really like the sunset one!

Although the ghost ones are a bit too dark...very difficult to decipher what's going on.

And that orange-leaved tree one, I'm quite surprised that that is a night shot -- looks so vibrant and the tree doesnt' appear blurred at all! (like from the wind coming by while you're taking the shot)

keep up the good work.

Thanks, That sunset one is one of my best works to date

The Ghost ones are supposed to be that way, although maybe a bit of lightening would help, I'll have to have a fiddle.

The tree was from fairly close up with the flash and I am very impressed with myself for holding the camera that steady for as long as night shots take. Actually all 3 of the night shots had no form of ballance other than me trying to hold my hand still.

The sunset shot is amazing. It looks like a painting. Really draws one's eye to it. The sepia one with the leaf (couldn't quite make out the insect) is unique. I like it. The others were hard to see.

Congrats on stepping out on a limb and showing your work. Keep taking risks and tweaking your curiousity.

Nice work!

Don't you love it when you wake up in the mornings to THAT?? A sense of rush runs thru you so fast you forget you are tired.
It makes your heart stop for a second...everything is so still. I feel like I am right inside the photo, in the fog.

Right on!

Wake up?? I don't wake up that early. I actually was up all night that night. Started feeling sleepy at about 4:00 am by which time I had decided I was gonna go get some sunrise shots. Left my room at the same moment the first birds started. it was wonderful
