Im sorry folks but Blink 182 are absolutely pathetic They are not true punks! They are an embarassment to the true punk rockers!!! Go buy some Ramones records, or Black Flag, or The Clash. Learn about real Punk! Not these pathetic poseurs!

I'll have to agree with u on that. Blink is definitely not true punk. They're just "new-age punk" like The All-American Rejects, NFG, Simple Plan, Midtown, The Ataris and so on. They're older stuff is more towards real punk though. Anti-Flag, Dead Kennedys and Rancid are better choices for real punk. I still like Blink though. They're pretty unique.mrslinky said:

we have their last cd reviewed on our site and the cd is laced with more than 90 offensive words and topics of masturbation, beastiality, incest etc etc.

I havn't heard the new CD yet, but I do plan on getting it soon. I already have the previous Blink CD's and I like em all so far, even though they contain bad language. Would you consider them to have cleaned up their act at all?bluephi115 said:

The review for their new album sounds more promising then their previous stuff. I only listen to Blink cause I like their music. I'll admit, I can't agree with a lot of their lyrics, but as a band, I think they're pretty good. I do stay away from stuff that I feel will corrupt me in some way like Marylin Manson, ICP, Eminem, Korn, Disturbed, Slipknot and so on. Compared to those groups, Blink 182 isn't that bad.

i disagree..i think they are much moe harmful than the bands you mentioned. most teens will NOT murder someon or commit drimes or acts of violence like those bands promote. But most teens will fall into the temptations of masturbation, sex, alcohol, drugs etc. Blink 182, lyrically, is disgusting. the porblem is they and many fans find humour in what they sing about. Please dont take offese to waht i am saying because i hear that response a lot. Our mind is a spiritual crock pot haha. Meaning garbage in..garbage out. If you feel your mind with impure thoughts then that is what comes out from your heart.

You've got a really strong point there. I never really saw it like that. I appreciate the feedback. I 'll probably think twice before I listen to another one of their albums. I love blink and greenday but I stoped listening to them a while ago because I decided to give it to God and let him have it.No more secular for me.But they did have extreamly good harmony and sound together.Good band bad influence.Same with Greenday.

in anthem part two on the take off your pants and jacket album, the lyrics seem christian, the lyrics are "help me jesus, we need God." There's nothing wrong with masturbation.
