Storyline: The League of Aldonadi

Description - Nevena is in a word, captivating. A curvaceous, strong, healthy woman with a kind smile, she uses often. No matter how well you know her though, she always seems to carry a ‘mystic’ about her. Usually dressed in snug fitting leathers with metal rings sewn on the outside of legs and arms, she looks formidable even though she is beautiful.
Personality – Nevena is confident but careful. She laughs often seeing humor and beauty all around her. She longed to be a normal woman with a family but keeps that hidden within her heart for she knows this is likely never going to happen. She fears she will most likely die in some futile battle because someone wants Torrent, her warhorse blade.
Short History – Short History – Nevena is the daughter of a metallurgist, his specialty being swords of every description for the Aldonadians. The Aldonadians know his work and he is respected among them. His shop is in Hub. This being the case Nevena grew up with blades and knows them well. She understands make and balance of a blade are as important to the swordsman as a fit and nimble body. She learned to wield blades well from a young age which is what caught the eye of an Aldonadian. Nevena was taken into training.
Nevena was chosen by Torrent, the blade’s avatar. She has been in several battles but never claims the blade of those who attacked her. She will instead take it to the previous master (trainer) so that they may select a new wielder. Nevena is smart enough to realize being greedy gathers the attention of too many envious pursuers. She is not interested in the power struggles of many of the Aldonadians. However she has become a sort of benefactress for the small community of her youth, so really she stays in Hub most of the time.
If Nevena finds the previous master of a blade is dead then the blade is returned to Aldonadi Elders. Nevena is not greedy; the Elders are acquainted with her somewhat idealistic ways.
Nevena’s one venture into the romantic arena nearly cost her everything. He turned out to be a feralist and one who was using her only. His true desire was to obtain Torrent. Her heart shattered, she fought him but did not kill him. Instead she took his blade from his unconscious fingers, returning it to the Elders. Kaldeth was banished from Hub. All gate guards have been familiarized with his likeness and he is not allowed within the city. That was twelve years ago
Torrent: Warhorse Blade
This blade has a horseshoe for a guard. When Nevena invokes her blade it becomes a 2,000 lb, 18 hand raging warhorse stallion. Torrent can execute the capriole maneuver with a twist, kicking backward to annihilate enemies on both sides then follow with a vicious bite attack on anything within reach of his neck as he lands. (Not to mention the pure weight of 2,000 lbs of raging equine coming down on top of someone or something.) Around each of his hooves lays a circlet of barbed steel, making his attacks even more deadly.
