Places to communicate with people who I feel may be perhaps more receptive to receive the word of God.

Hospitals for adults standing outside with many sick relatives inside. Often it can be very difficult to see a Chaplain due to cutbacks.

Hospital for children

To me perhaps this might appeal to 1Tonne. To be honest I had them in my prayers last Sunday at church in support for them to return this or God reveal to them another way.

Hostels people are again desperate often.

Visiting old people's homes with consent and ministering to the elderly.

GP surgery stand outside and give some out.

Citizens Advice buildings if busy enough etc

Immigrant centres.

Speakers corner in the UK where people go prepared to listen.

People will be sober and you will less likely find material disposed of on the floor and likely will be more appreciated and people may speak to you in desperation.

Just some thoughts.

I was at the seaside alone this year and man came to me, he came all the way from London to Southend to give the New Testament Bible out at the seaside. He was a house preacher. I just let him do his thing and just accepted his Bible. I was playing quite dumb like I didn't know a thing but couldn't deny it when we came to stating this when he asked me if I was born again. I had to declare that Jesus was the Son of God. I kept on staring at him but Jesus will come at the second coming and that time has not come yet,

So perhaps a seaside as well could be considered may be.

I see people witnessing near supermarkets in my area from time and it seems to go smoothly. So perhaps supermarkets as well.

It is sad though people will abuse men more freely than a woman or child giving out religious mateial. Shade state of affairs. Just exploring this. May be this group need to be doing it more and the men critically involved as well I am just thinking and may not have the right answer.

Hi Rachel
About 40 minutes away there is a seaside path that many people walk on. Every now and then, I do make the trip there to share. It is a great place. Though, my main mission field I believe should be locally.

I do share downtown outside of businesses.

Men may get more abuse. But we must have courage. Paul even prayed that he may be given the courage. We will be persecuted if we go out and share the full Gospel. Even women will be abused (Maybe to a lesser extent).

1Tonne, that is so great to read that you are still doing it this is really just good news to hear. Your story was quite a moving one for sure. I was under the impression you had stopped since you made your last post about experiences in the park. Witnessing really seemed to be your thing as well.

It seems that you have worked out some other places to witness to and that is great.

I think Jesus by instructing his disciples to leave environments where they were not welcomed is indicative that his aim was to be harm avoidant to themselves also, although it can happen. God himself doesn't like violence as well.

I have only been out a couple of times. But the biggest harvest is at the park, and I have been too afraid to go back there. But I have been working up the courage to go there. Hopefully this week.

I agree that we should avoid places where there may be physical confrontation. But in saying this, sometimes we will have to go to places where we will get in trouble. After all, 11 of the disciples ended up being killed for their faith.
So, we need to use wisdom. That is part of the reason I have not been back to the park. I have left it so that with time, people may settle down. (NOTE: 99.9% of people at the park are fine. But 0.01% when they do come along, make a big scene)

Again, this is very good and encouraging to read.
Just out of interest do you intend to do anything differently this time at the park. I hope it goes well.
Thank you for giving me some food for thought and things to consider.

I will be doing the same except I will not be sharing with young people in groups. People got up in arms thinking that I may have been a predator. So, I will only be witnessing to adults, and I hope that the adults come to faith and then share the Gospel with their children.

I am saddened that I am not able to share with the young people as many of them have come to a new understanding of what Christ has done on the Cross. (On 2 separate occasions I even had some kids going around the park yelling, saying "Listen to this fuller. He has some really good stuff to say!" It was amazing to see)

1Tonne I am sure you been instrumental in touching many people lives and so may that continue. I think in this day and age unfortunetly those changes were needed. I think you will be fine as God is your clear defence. Just a thought perhaps you could pass on your mentoring skills you have learnt in some way. Just came to mind. Good luck.

I want to take someone out while I evangelize. My daughter (21 years old) was going to be coming out with me, but she is now highly preoccupied with organising her wedding. Hopefully oneday.

I was thinking today a Levite when retired would mentor the young. I wish you the best with this.

I have been looking around online at non Christian forums as well to try and support others. May be online needs to be used more, but these are hard to find. May be there may be something similar in your country. The links I am sharing are based in the UK but not limited to that in reach I believe, I could be wrong. When I was a student over 10 years ago now I registered on a student forum. I still have my membership. You do not have to create posts yourself but if people really need help you step in and help. In one forum a man was looking to change his religion. One another people was asking how to become a Christian.

Here is another section
