How many of you are career writers? That is, how many have decided to write full-time (or have that aspiration)? If so, are you marketing yourself? I currently have a blog and a profile on Facebook, but I'm looking to expand my "fanbase". Most of my material currently comes from my blog, but there are a variety of influences that contribute to that material.

So, who all markets themselves as a writer or an aspiring author actively pursuing their dream?

Good question. I'm on the road to writing, but not sure of the timetable. Like you, I'm doing all the social networking stuff, but at some point, will need to set up book fairs at events.

So you got me thinking, I am interested in making my own website. So now I've created a website, it's pretty, just bare. Haven't written anything in it yet lol.. That'll have to wait til tomorrow. Going to take some time. Thanks for the idea.
