  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

On Netflix I watched an interesting movie about a woman who is attracted to dead bodies. I thought the movie would be harder to watch than it actually turned out to be. The plot is kind of stupid though. The boy she's dating quickly discovers her secret and soon turns emo because she isn't able to cherish him sexually and emotionally like she does for people who are dead. So he end up killing himself. I thought it was a little revolting when she decides to have sex with his dead body. The movie also lets you know that everyone who works at a funeral home are secretly necrophillacs lol.

Awesome idea for a thread.

Ill stick to Netflix stream because thats all i got.

Movie i recently watched was "Cashback".

It was a british comedy. Now be warned that it has alot of nudity in it and is really not a movie you wanna watch with younger viewers. But, i think it was a good movie all around. All around i thought it was a really funny and a feel good movie.

That reminded me of this guy for some reason Armin Meiwes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yeah, he's the inspiration for the Rammstein song "mein teil".

The movie I was talking about isn't anything like that. It wasn't designed to horrify the audience, rather show that people who are into necrophilia can be normal people. That it's a preference that should be accepted like any other. I actually thought the movie was quite bold and brave. Unfortunately I don't think it was handled very well.

I'd actually not mind writing a story about necrophiliacs, though I'd try to make it into a dark comedy. My friend said that isn't a good idea, because people would assume I'm into that kind of stuff when I'm not. But I just like writing about people with strange preferences. Eh, lol. The different ways people express themselves fascinates me.

Going to watch the Untouchables on Netflix, and perhaps the Piano Teacher afterwards.

Haven't had a movie night in a while.

I'll use my PS Vita too, the oled screen is beautiful.

The movie is called "Kissed", unfortunately it's not available to stream currently.

Oh, and you're thinking of the movie "Red Dawn".

Family Guy is awesome *seasons 1-3* and I've grown to appreciate American Dad.

I watched another movie about various fetishes documented in the late 19th century. Many of these fetishes were documented by the same guy who coined the term masochism. Though he viewed it as an illness and something to fix, so I don't like him very much lol. But still an interesting movie nevertheless. It also goes to show our great great great grandparents were perhaps not as vanilla as we might think, and many fetishes are much older than you'd realize.

Joseph "King of Dreams" was very enjoyable to watch, a very touching biblical story AND it's animated so it's more fun:hoho:

Omygosh.

I watched this about a week ago and I still can't get that song 'You're no better than I' out of my stupid head.

What a great song. :)

The Prince of Egypt was good, maybe I'll give Joseph the King of Dreams a try.

Pretty sure I watched it in Sunday school once, but I've totally forgotten about it since then. Though sadly the animation looks like it went in the bucket. It was a direct to video feature after all though. : (

yes, Red Dawn.

I figure fetishes go back to the beginning of time. (you can all debate how that looked for yourselves . . . either way, it is funny)

I relate to Family Guy characters but American Dad situations. Everyone thinks I'm either Brian or Roger. they are funny. especially the religious stuff. I mean, it is sooooo true and that makes it even better.

The movie about Ocar Wilde with one of my favorite actors . . . umm, I forget his name . . . great movie. let me think. nope can't remember it. good movie though.

I'm watching The Stand right now, but miniseries about worldwide plague epidemics don't make very good picker-uppers.

Go for it!

Suddenly, I wouldn't mind writing a zombie story where the undead are all trying to retain their places in society ("The Undead Are People, Too!").

i liked 'morning glory'
disney nature's 'the crimson wing'
'waiting for forever'
'the science of sex appeal'
'elizabethtown'
'the shunning'
'mao's last dancer' was ok. but only if you like dance.
'eternal sunshine of a spotless mind'

but i tend to run biased on romantic comedies. it really depends on your tastes. just always find a trailer first before you watch stuff. i have been so disappointed by some of those tv movies.

happy hunting!
