What is the name of the song you used during the communism scene

I second this. I've been wanting to know what that song is ever since I watched Excalibur.

I liked it(particularily the part about why various churces didn't want to discuss intelligent design) until the"evoultionist will live in damnation for eternity" part as its too much of a straw man to be good parady.

Otherwise it was pretty good.:thumbsup:

And do you know where this crazy Chuck Norris phenomen came from all of a sudden?:scratch:

I mean, wasn't the last movie he made in like 1992? "Sidekicks" IIRC? And is Walker:Texas Ranger even on anymore?

Here are the lyrics for O' Fortuna, which were written c. 1230 A.D. The language is Latin, and an english translation is added. The author is unknown. I believe that Carl Orff is a modern composer who created the music for this medieval poem. Both the poem and the music have a very tragic sense of life, which suits the Middle Ages, I suppose. I love O' Fortuna's energy, and shudder from its sense of life, all at the same time.

O Fortuna O Fortune,
velut luna like the moon
statu variabilis, you are changeable,
semper crescis ever waxing
aut decrescis; and waning;
vita detestabilis hateful life
nunc obdurat first oppresses
et tunc curat and then soothes
ludo mentis aciem, as fancy takes it;
egestatem, poverty
potestatem and power
dissolvit ut glaciem. it melts them like ice.

Sors immanis Fate - monstrous
et inanis, and empty,
rota tu volubilis, you whirling wheel,
status malus, you are malevolent,
vana salus well-being is vain
semper dissolubilis, and always fades to nothing,
obumbrata shadowed
et velata and veiled
michi quoque niteris; you plague me too;
nunc per ludum now through the game
dorsum nudum I bring my bare back
fero tui sceleris. to your villainy.

Sors salutis Fate is against me
et virtutis in health
michi nunc contraria, and virtue,
est affectus driven on
et defectus and weighted down,
semper in angaria. always enslaved.
Hac in hora So at this hour
sine mora without delay
corde pulsum tangite; pluck the vibrating strings;
quod per sortem since Fate
sternit fortem, strikes down the string man,
mecum omnes plangite! everyone weep with me!

The song is called Carmina Burana.

It's not exactly a 'song'. Carmina Burana is multi movement work by Carl Orff. Oh Fortuna.

The first piece is part of Mozart's Requiem.
The next musical selection is the prelude from Bach's first Cello Suite
Then we have "O Fortuna" from Orff's Carmina Burana
The next piece, I have no idea

----- adding -----

From the credits its Enya then the end is some ELO :p
