  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am looking for a Christian college that offers a certificate program in children and youth ministry. I want to take Biblical courses as well like Old Testement and New Testement survey, etc. I have considered Tennessee temple university and lee university, but they only offer bachelor's degrees. I just want to be able to work in children and youth ministry, so I don't feel I need a full degree just a certificate. I don't want to have to take all of the non-Biblical and non-ministry courses a full degree requires. (I don't want to have to take algebra, literatire, psychology, etc. that I won't seem to need to work with children and youth in a church or maybe someday start my own children/youth ministry). I just want tofocus on children and youth ministry along with general Biblical courses. I can not seem to find an accredited school that offers a certificate in children and youth ministry. I do want it to be all online as well. Any suggestions?
