• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I am a caregiver for a man with a SCI (spinal cord injury). He's paralyzed fromthe waist down. Its a hard job at times and Im on call all the time. Its hard for me especially at 17 years old. Please pray that I will stay patient and that his rect sickness is over with. If it is overwith, that means I wont have a long drive 3 and 4 times a day back and forth. This man needs me and this is a great job with certifications. I need this job, but I need patience to hold on to it. Thanks in advance. ~holyroller2005 ~*~ God bless you all!~*~

Hello, It's hard to take care of a person that has a spinal injury. I was married to a guy that had got shoot. He's paralzed from the neck down. Some days you will have more patience than others. Just keep praying for him and you. It might take a toll on you, it did on us we got divorce. But I will pray for you I know what you are going though. Love, Robbie:pray:
